Kem comes to Toon

.com are reporting that the signing of midfielder Olivier Kemen has now been confirmed as our first of the summer. The French teenager has made an impression at Metz and arrives on Tyneside amid high hopes. We'd do well to be cautious, though - after all, much the same was said about his compatriots Romain Amalfitano and Mehdi Abeid, both of whom are now being ushered towards the exit door.

Kemen should fit in just fine - judging by the photo accompanying the story on .com (admittedly not completely up-to-date), he's already sporting the apparently regulation bouffant mohican favoured by Mr T, Master T and Little Big Lad...
